Soiree in the Parlor

Join us on Memorial Day for a triple-header reading of scripts in process. Magic, a short screenplay by Nancy O. Graham, is a comic caper in the form of an unusual custody battle. In The Warriors, a short play by Kate Udall, an archeologist grapples with a Viking ghost, who may have the loot she needs to solve mysteries of the past. Open Mike, a screenplay in rhyming verse by Peter Ferland, is about college students who find thousands of dollars in a second-hand couch—and return the money. Inspired by a true story.

Nancy O. Graham, curator of this soirée, is a Kingston-based actor and writer. Recent acting credits include The Clean House by Sarah Ruhl (Threshold Stage Company, Kittery, ME); Tiny Rooms, a performance installation by Grace Pendleton (Brooklyn, NY); and The Skin of Our Teeth (Voice Theatre, Woodstock, NY).
